The only person who decides if you are a gambling addict is YOU! People from all walks of life attend these meetings. The nice thing about these meetings is that they have them at all times of the day. You can just do a basic internet search and find a meeting.
If you choose to attend a meeting you do not even have to speak. Just simply say, “I pass.” If you choose to speak you don’t even have to say you are an addict, just give your first name and you don’t even have to say it if you don’t want to. GA is not a religious program at all. It is a spiritual program. There are no rules in GA. There certainly are suggestions but it is up to the individual whether to take them or not. So if you need help with a gambling problem many will often suggest GA is the place to go. It has a successful proven track record and has helped so many people live a gamble free life.
