Williamsville Wellness Center is currently seeking the following positions to join our treatment team. Williamsville Wellness, located in beautiful Hanover, VA, is a private licensed Residential Treatment Center that specializes in the treatment of gambling addiction, alcohol, and substance abuse as well as other impulse control disorders. We utilize a treatment team approach focusing on an individual therapeutic approach. We offer 8 different treatment modalities including a holistic approach.
Use both individual and group sessions to assess and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether they be cognitive, affective, or behavioral, or within the context of marriage and family systems. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and apply psychotherapeutic and family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals and their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides individual, group and family therapy.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team.
- Documents in Medical Record according to requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Submit Service Activity Logs, as well as weekly and monthly schedules.
- Deliver time sheets and mileage to Clinical Manager.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
All other duties as assigned by supervision.

Education and/or Experience:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or relative field, from an accredited college or university. Two-three years of experience working in community mental health preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, mean, mode and median ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: State of Virginia license or registration to meet the requirements of a qualified mental health professional.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing assessments and coordinating ongoing nursing care under the supervision of the Doctor and Treatment Team, including daily collaboration with the Treatment Team. The RN will also be responsible for completing template for patient concurrent reviews to enable patients to continue receiving coverage from their insurance carriers.
Specific Job Duties Include:
-Collects and records data in a comprehensive, accurate and systematic manner.
-Initiates and completes initial nursing assessment at time of patient admissions and reports to our Clinical Director.
-Inventories and records all patient medications and daily review of tracking process.
-Documents client progress/regress according to established policies and procedures.
-Supervises and instructs patients in medication administration, including the preparation and giving of injections as ordered by doctor.
-Demonstrates knowledge of medication actions, side effects and contraindications.
-Performs other duties as needed.
-Completes template for concurrent reviews to allow patients continued coverage for their stay.
-One year experience with chemical dependency, psychiatric, detox, medical/surgical nursing and/or dual diagnosis/substance abuse programs preferred.
-Maintains active Virginia RN License.
