Addiction Treatment Option Guide
Understanding different levels of addiction treatment care. Your appropriate level of care will be determined through a comprehensive clinical assessment by our professional staff.
Levels of Care Explained
Addiction treatment isn't one-size-fits-all. Different levels of care provide varying intensities of support based on clinical need. Our professional staff will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine which level of care is most appropriate for your specific circumstances and recovery needs.
Clinical Assessment Required
Your treatment level is determined by our clinical staff through a comprehensive assessment of your addiction severity, medical history, and personal circumstances. This ensures you receive the most appropriate level of care for your recovery success.

How to Choose the Right Level of Care
Selecting the appropriate treatment level depends on several factors. Here's what to consider when making this important decision.
Severity of Addiction
More severe addictions typically require higher levels of care. Residential treatment provides the most intensive support, while outpatient programs work well for moderate addiction.
Home Environment
If your home environment has triggers or lacks support, residential treatment removes you from these challenges. Stable, supportive homes may allow for outpatient care.
Work & Family Responsibilities
Outpatient programs allow you to maintain work and family commitments. Residential care requires time away but provides intensive focus on recovery.
Mental Health Conditions
Co-occurring mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, or PTSD may require the intensive support available in residential treatment settings.
Previous Treatment History
If outpatient treatment hasn't been successful in the past, a higher level of care like residential treatment may be necessary for lasting recovery.
Medical Needs
Complex medical needs or withdrawal concerns may require coordination with medical facilities, as Williamsville Wellness is not a medical facility and cannot provide medical supervision.
