Beatrice Mateos y Lago is a graduate student in Pepperdine University’s Clinical Psychology program, with a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University and has spent nearly a year as an intern at Williamsville Wellness, gaining hands-on experience in addiction recovery and mental health care.
Beatrice adopts a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, empowering clients to recognize and foster their resilience while addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety, identity struggles, and relationship dynamics. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, continuing her passion for mental health and recovery advocacy.
