Armond Leake
Armond Leake is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working in the Mental Health and Addiction fields. He holds a B.S. in Psychology, Master of Social Work, and Post Master’s Certificate in Professional Counseling from VCU. Armond has experience working in a variety of inpatient, outpatient, private practice, and residential treatment settings both as a clinician and administrator. Prior to coming to Williamsville Wellness, Armond worked at Anthem Insurance as a Utilization Review Care Manager. Armond has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. He also has experience working with special populations such as the blind, visually and hearing impaired. Armond likes to take a more positive, client-centered and practical approach when working with individuals. He enjoys helping others discover and nurture their own inner strengths so that they can successfully maximize their potential, reach their goals, and live healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives. In his spare time, Armond enjoys singing and playing his guitar, spending time in nature, traveling, and hanging out with his dogs.
Billy Hoffman
A native of Virginia, William “Billy” Hoffman, spent many years battling his own addictions to drugs, alcohol, and compulsive gambling. After discovering the solutions to his addictive behavior he made the decision to dedicate his life to helping others find the answers they need to develop a healthy and productive life WITHOUT ADDICTION.
Billy joined Williamsville Wellness in 2007 and helps clients uncover what motivates, drives, and enhances their quality of life. Hoffman holds a CSAC-A with the Virginia Board of Counseling. Billy also holds an ICGC-II (International Compulsive Gambling Counselor (Level 2). His other certifications are in Professional Coaching and Recovery Coaching through the World Coach Institute.
Emma Land
Emma Land is a Resident in Counseling working towards licensure as a professional counselor. Emma completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Virginia Tech and her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a yearlong internship at Williamsville Wellness before joining the team full time.
Emma is passionate about working with individuals struggling with addiction from a strengths-based, positive psychology approach. She specializes in working with clients on topics of shame and guilt, anxiety management, and meaning and purpose while utilizing a trauma informed approach.
Kenny Jones
Kenny Jones joins Williamsville with over 20 years of experience in substance abuse, mentoring & case management with young adults who come from challenging backgrounds and environments. Kenny has used his own experience as a recovering addict and product of the social service system to relate and identify with patients and teach them associated skills to overcome and/or live with disorders, addiction, and social issues. Kenny also uses his creative side with painting and music as a therapeutic resource to reach and connect with patients to help maintain a value that is without parallel.
Kenny is a skilled presenter and he is intimately aware of the characteristics of addiction. Kenny is a peer counselor at Williamsville Wellness and he has recently completed his training to be a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Assistant (CSAC-A).
