A native of Virginia, William "Billy" Hoffman brings a unique perspective to our treatment team at Williamsville Wellness, having personally navigated the journey from addiction to recovery. After spending many years battling his own addictions to drugs, alcohol, and compulsive gambling, Billy discovered the solutions he needed to transform his life and made the decision to dedicate his career to helping others find their path to recovery.
Billy joined our team at Williamsville Wellness in 2007 and has since become an integral part of our comprehensive treatment approach. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, he helps patients uncover what motivates, drives, and enhances their quality of life as they build a healthy and productive life without addiction.
Billy holds a CSAC-A (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor - Assistant) with the Virginia Board of Counseling and a CPRS (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) with the Virginia Certification Board. His lived experience combined with professional training allows him to connect with patients in a meaningful way, offering hope and practical guidance for those beginning their recovery journey.
