Peyton Buongiorne

Peyton Buongiorne is an intern therapist from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is pursuing her Masters of Education in Counselor Education, with a focus on marriage and family counseling. She also received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at VCU in 2023. Peyton holds her QMHP-T, and has a background in community mental health outpatient services, as well as research.
Peyton is passionate about substance abuse counseling, and uses an integrative, person-centered approach to aid clients in navigating what triggers their addictive behavior, and how this shows up in their interpersonal relationships. Peyton runs group and individual sessions at Williamsville, on topics including coping skills, identity, family systems, and anxiety.
