About Kayla
Kayla Vickers is a master's level intern at Williamsville Wellness and is currently pursuing her master's degree in rehabilitation and clinical mental health counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon graduation, she will begin residency towards her license in professional counseling (LPC).
Working alongside our clinical team, Kayla uses a poly-theoretical approach integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and client centered therapy to support client growth and resilience. She collaborates with our multidisciplinary team to ensure client's needs are being met, with a focus on addiction, anxiety, depression, and recovery.
Her main goal is to assist clients in their recovery journey, by helping them create and maintain positive self-efficacy, self-esteem, and trust in their own abilities. As part of our comprehensive treatment approach, Kayla brings fresh perspectives and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support lasting recovery and personal growth.
Addiction Recovery
Supporting clients through substance use recovery with a focus on building resilience, self-efficacy, and trust in their own abilities for lasting change.
Anxiety & Depression
Using poly-theoretical approaches including CBT and solution-focused therapy to help clients develop coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Providing person-centered therapeutic support that honors each client's unique journey and empowers them to build positive self-esteem and confidence.

Working with our treatment team to help clients identify their strengths and develop practical solutions for achieving their recovery goals.
