About Walter

Walter Wrobleski brings a unique and powerful perspective to the recovery process at Williamsville Wellness, combining his personal journey with professional expertise as a Peer Recovery Specialist. A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Walter has dedicated his career to helping others improve the quality of their lives through compassionate, team-based care.

With over 12 years of experience as a K-12 Guidance Counselor and more than 10 years working with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities, Walter understands the importance of meeting each individual where they are in their journey. Since joining our team in 2016, he has served in multiple roles including house manager, addiction blog writer, and educator throughout Virginia.

Walter's approach to recovery is grounded in gratitude and giving back what was freely given to him. He leads both group and individual sessions for clients in our residential and outpatient programs, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support long-term sobriety and wellness. His extensive travel throughout Virginia has helped educate legal professionals on the benefits of accessible addiction treatment.
