Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Beacon (formerly Value Options), Sentara (formerly Optima), and United Healthcare. For other insurers like Tricare, Aetna, and Humana, we verify coverage and you may be able to use out-of-network benefits. Our inpatient program does not accept Medicare or Medicaid, though we are in-network with Optima/Sentara and UnitedHealthcare Medicaid for outpatient programs.

Does Williamsville offer counseling & support for family and friends?

Yes, family therapy is an integral part of our healing process. Family sessions can take place at our facility, via telephone, email, or video conference. We respect patient privacy and never release information without patient permission.

What should I bring with me to Williamsville Wellness?

Bring electronics (cell phone, laptop, etc.), personal hygiene items, money for personal expenses, a backpack, comfortable clothes including workout attire, and a 30-day supply of prescribed medications in their original bottles. Please don't bring products containing alcohol, weapons, or revealing/drug-themed clothing.

What is a typical weekday schedule like for patients?

Patients typically have 1-2 individual sessions and 4 group sessions daily. The schedule includes breakfast, individual therapy, group sessions, lunch, family therapy, psychological assessment, wellness activities, recovery-based therapy, dinner, and evening AA/GA meetings or free time.

Is Williamsville Wellness right for me?

Williamsville Wellness offers intensive individual therapy for addiction recovery in a serene environment. Treatment is appropriate when substance use continues despite adverse consequences. Residential treatment may be right for you if you've been unable to maintain sobriety through outpatient means like individual therapy, 12-step meetings, or intensive outpatient programs.

Walter Wrobleski brings a unique and powerful perspective to the recovery process at Williamsville Wellness, combining his personal journey with professional expertise as a Peer Recovery Specialist. A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Walter has dedicated his career to helping others improve the quality of their lives through compassionate, team-based care.

With over 12 years of experience as a K-12 Guidance Counselor and more than 10 years working with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities, Walter understands the importance of meeting each individual where they are in their journey. Since joining our team in 2016, he has served in multiple roles including house manager, addiction blog writer, and educator throughout Virginia.

Walter's approach to recovery is grounded in gratitude and giving back what was freely given to him. He leads both group and individual sessions for clients in our residential and outpatient programs, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support long-term sobriety and wellness. His extensive travel throughout Virginia has helped educate legal professionals on the benefits of accessible addiction treatment.
