About Jana
Jana Mills completed her undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling while working toward her full certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). As part of our treatment team at Williamsville Wellness, Jana is completing her supervised hours to earn her CSAC credential.
Working alongside our clinical team, Jana is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward recovery, healing, and personal growth. Her primary area of focus is psychoeducation, where she helps clients build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier coping strategies to support their recovery.
A central component of Jana's work is helping clients create a healthy personal narrative. She believes that lasting change begins when individuals can view themselves with compassion, recognize their strengths, and rewrite the stories that have limited their growth. Through a supportive and client-centered approach, Jana empowers individuals to build resilience, foster self-acceptance, and move forward with confidence and purpose.
