Our Story

Williamsville Wellness was founded in 2007 by Bob Cabaniss, who opened his family's historic home just north of Richmond to people struggling with addiction. His goal was simple: give people the time, attention and setting they need to truly heal.

Since then, hundreds of people have rebuilt their lives here. We still believe what Bob believed from the start. Lasting recovery comes from getting to the root of addiction, one conversation at a time, in a place that feels like home.

"Our mission is to provide holistic, individualized treatment that offers hope and recovery for people struggling with addiction, built on respect, compassion and care for the whole person."The Williamsville Wellness mission

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We're in network with Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Beacon, Optum, Sentara and UnitedHealthcare, and we can check other plans like Tricare, Aetna and Humana, since out-of-network benefits sometimes apply.
